  • How to order a car?
Car Reservation is possible in several ways:

    - complete the online form on the website

    - by sending ane-mail with your wishes to address

- by phone a tone of our numbers in the Contacts section
  • What documents do I need to take with me to collect my car hire?
    The required documents for renting a car are passport, credit card and a valid national or international driver’s license.
  • What are the age requirements to rent a car?
    For car group B and scooters minimum rental age is 21 years with valid driver's license held for a minimum of 2 years.
    The minimum eligibility for car rental is 25 years of age with 2 years of driving experience (for all car groups).
  • What are the payment methods?
    We accept payment by credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Diners), debit card or in cash.
    Valid credit card is required and authorization on the card must be made according to the category of rented vehicle.
  • Is there a possibility to change the reservation or cancel a reservation?
    You may cancel your reservation or make changes up to 6 hours prior to your rental time without penalty.
    Also there is possibility for a full or partial refund but only in the event of extenuating circumstances. For more details, contact our representatives by clicking the Contacts link.
  • What kind of insurance do you offer?
    Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) - limits Renter/Driver financial responsibility to the Excess Amount stated on the Rental Agreement
    Super Collision Damage Waivew (SCDW) – By accepting SCDW Renter/Driver financial responsibility for accidental damage to the vehicle, its parts and accessories, theft or attempted theft is reduced to zero.
    Theft protection Waiver (TP) – This shall apply in the case of loss of the rental vehicle, its parts and accessories (including tires, stereo equipment, etc.) as a result of theft or attempted theft. (Included in SCDW)
    Personal Accident Insurance (PAI) - covers medical costs and accidental death for the renter and passengers in the event of an accident during the rental. (Included in SCDW)
  • What to do after a car accident?
    Immediately inform the Police and Modus Rent Service and follow their instructions and take down all the details of any other parties involved
    Complete an accident/damage report
    Upon the return of rental vehicle write down a brief statement explaining the course events
  • What happens if I return the vehicle late?
    Please inform us about that. In the event that time is being exceeded by more than 60 minutes additional day shall be charged to renter / driver.
  • Can I drive across the Croatian border in my rental car?
    Cross border rentals are not allowed without permission of Modus Rent Servis
  • Does the drop-off and pick up location have to be the same?
    We have car one-way service and also provide vehicle delivery. In that case additional charge may apply so please see more on our website.
  • Can i hire a car with a driver?
